The annual sale at the Safari Trading Company gift shop continues through Dec. 24. The Safari Trading Company carries a unique selection of plush animals, wildlife toys, figurines and zoo apparel. And, your purchases help to support valuable zoo projects and programs. Current Friends of the Zoo members receive a 20 percent discount. (The general public receives a 10 percent discount on gift shop merchandise.)

Fall/Winter Hours at Dickerson Park Zoo

Dickerson Park Zoo is open every day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., weather permitting. We will close when there is ice or snow on the walkways. We are also closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1).

Hours of operations for guest services:

- Safari Trading Company gift shop – daily, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (admission gate hours)

- Bush Country Café – daily, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., weekends only now through February

- The Titus Express train ride, giraffe feeding deck and Outback Corral petting zoo are closed for the season from November through February.
